It is your off day. You are lying in bed and scrolling Instagram feed. You see a hot pic of an Instagram model who filtered her pic 10x to get good validation from her ‘hungry’ audience. You start with an amateur category, then you switch onto threesome and then on some hardcore, and you masturbate on same for like 5 minutes. As soon as you orgasm, you clear the tab and feel little guilt about it. But never mind. After an hour your friend texts you ‘pubG?’, and you join the game. You play for like 2 to 3 hours and then you get up from your bed and decide to do something ‘fruitful’ in your day. But you feel tired and demotivated. Your eyes are still sleepy and you feel lethargic. You eat some sugary stuff to feel ‘energetic’. As the day passes you are again in your bed as it is night time, the same process again. We humans feel good when we work hard on something and achieve good results because of it. Like for example, we feel good if work on your diet and achieves good physique or we feel good when we get promotion in our job and we definitely feel good when we have sex with the partner we have been longing for and when you play paintball or football with your friends. Because we humans are meant to hunt, to eat and to reproduce. These are our basic needs and today we are fulfilling it through things like:

  • Gaming – false sense of hunting
  • Porn – false sense of reproduction
  • Sugar – Waste and harmful calories

Let’s dig deeper into it.

When you play games (I will talk about pubG here) your mind feels like you are ‘hunting’ , ‘killing’ and ‘conquering’ things (which kings and our rulers used to do in real life) and you get instant gratification (reward) which release dopamine (more than 200% which is similar to the morphine drug) and you ‘feel good‘, you feel so good that you keep  playing it until your phone’s battery dies or somebody calls you in order to meet, which you hate because now you have social anxiety and you ‘hate the outside world’. You feel proud of winner winner chicken dinner in yourself, but if you have to combat someone in real life you will chickened out because well you have no real life hunting instincts left.

Let’s compare few things from gaming to real life. Answer these in your mind:

  • What makes you more tired? – Lifting a gas cylinder in real life or carrying fully kitted m416 in your backpack
  • What is more worthy? – Getting respect and admiration in front of thousands people in real life or getting praise in front of online gamers?

Answers to these questions will define why you need to stop gaming every day and must to go out in real life to hunt (now obviously it is illegal to hunt but approaching new people to talk is basically hunting for you in present times).

This continuous fake reward system makes you dull and you don’t feel like trying that new neighbourhood cafe, or you don’t feel like reading books and you start avoiding people. After quitting gaming, an hour of a Gym session, a football or basketball match with your friends will give you more rush than this gaming, it will improve your looks, your natural instinct, it will pump up your blood, you will actually sweat, your overall personality will improve.

Also, gaming is purely killing your valuable time until and unless you are making good money out of it.

 

Now let’s talk about Porn.

As I told earlier humans are meant to reproduce with a worthy mate. It is our basic nature. We get the urge to have sex for a same reason.

Now to get a worthy mate, technically you need to step out your home, craft yourself in good shape, gain good knowledge so that you can attract a good partner to mate. But instead, when you get the urge, you open up some random porn website and masturbate to it. Imagine doing the hard work of several days in just one click. You love doing it because again release of dopamine is controlling you. In the Long term

  • It makes you weak
  • It makes you anti-social (or socially anxious)
  • It makes your lethargic
  • It makes you sad
  • You start feeling depressed and life
  • You feel suicidal

Not only this, because of excessive consumption of porn and fapping to it, you fail to make a connection with the opposite sex. You compare every person with Jhonny sins or Dany daniels or Mia Khalifa or Naomi woods. You start rating people based on how your favourite porn star looks. This is dangerous because you yourself is not ‘alpha‘ in your tribe. You are out of shape, you cannot communicate properly, you walk like a penguin and still you ‘want’ a partner who looks better or similar to your favourite porn star.

The continuous consumption of porn is like taking cocaine. You start with half a line and you end up on four lines because half line is not even effective now. In the case of porn, you start with some amateurish category and then slowly feel the urge to consume porn which is full of abuses and rape stuff. (yes, it is that easily available on the internet).     These things are brainwashing today’s teenager and moment I realized it I gave up these bullshit . This porn is the only reason why so many relationships are ruined and affects our sexuality and first of all pubg proved to be time waster where I could have played guitar, creating art and many other interesting things .
